     Gerrit Lucas Broekman was born on 2 Sep 1819 in Amsterdam (Gasthuismolensteeg). Jan Barthold Petersen was the witness.1,2 He married Anna Maria Peters, daughter of Johan Gottlieb Peters and Anna Elizabeth Herbst, on 30 Jan 1845 at Amsterdam2,3 (banns 19 Jan 1845, Amsterdam.)2 He died on 27 Mar 1871 in Warnsveld, Gelderland.4

Other information:

Gerrit Lucas Broekman was a pastry baker in the Nieuwe Brugstraat in Amsterdam. In his marriage certificate he and his father are listed as "without occupation." According to the military list he was a blacksmith.5,26
     He was in 1857 twice in the Buitengasthuis, from 11-22 June, and from 16-29 Dec. Not mentioned why.78,4
