Riekeltje Jurjens Schuring was born on 4 Jan 1813 in Nieuwe Pekela (#498.)2 She married Klaas Marinus Wildeboer, son of Marinus Wildeboer and Aaltje Jans Ensing, on 2 May 1833 at Nieuwe Pekela1 (banns 21 Apr 1833, Nieuwe Pekela, also in Oude Pekela.)2

Her parents were Jurjen Jacobs Schuring and Geessien Geerts Holtman.1
Klaas was a minister in Zuid Beijerland, when he died. They had two more children after the move to Zuid Beyerland (Klaas and Geesje). Riekeltje apparently had, to keep her pension, emigrate with the group of Ds. Van Raalte. She dies there around 1848, and in the 1850 census the children are all in the households of other people, Klaas is with Van Raalte himself. All the children survive, and do well.3,4 R. immigrated on 4 Jun 1847 on the 'Dankbaarheid' to New York City from Rotterdam with her children Jacob, Jurjen, Aaltje, Marinus, Geesje and Klaas. The 'Dankbaarheid' (originally listed as Dank Caasliest) left on 4 Jun 1847 and arrived in New York City in June 18. Riekeltje was the daughter-in-law of Marinus Wildeboer. The children settle in the Mid-West and the West of the USA.5
