     Willem was baptized (NH) on 18 Apr 1680 at Leiden. Sponsors were Arent Willemse and Catharina Lagas.1

Other information:
     On 5 Mar 1694 he was banned for 12 years from Holland and West Frisia for stealing. He was c. 14 yrs old. On 7 Nov 1699 he (21 yrs old) is sentenced to a whipping and 12 yrs in jail for burglary, but was released from jail on 20 Oct 1706. On 25 Jun 1700 he was, because of an escape attempt, sentenced to 14 days on bread and water, and to spend 3 years of his sentence rasping wood.2,3,4
