Johannes was baptized (Luth) on 25 Sep 1715 at Amsterdam. Sponsors were Johannes Trout and Maria Herberts.1 He married Jannetje Ladiges, daughter of Jan Ladink and Pieternella Hendriks,2 (banns 22 Nov 1737, Amsterdam. He was 26 yr, from Amsterdam, at the Negelantiersgracht, his father Gerrit Ladiges was his witness; she was 27 yr, from Amsterdam, in the Blomstraat, her mother Pieternella Beenhulst was her witness.)2

In 1749 Jannetje Ladiges' husband is in the Dutch East Indies; Johannes Ladiges ships out on the ship 'Sloten' on 5 Jan 1748, arriving in Batavia on 17 Sep 1748. He died 18 Mar 1780 in Samarang.
According to his marriage banns birthdate is 1710, but I cannot find another Jan/Johannes with father Gerrit. A Johannes Ladiges (father Gerrit) goes in service of the VOC on the 'Haamstede' on 26 Dec 1740, and is repatriated in 1744 (arr. 8 Aug at Texel) on the 'Maarseveen.' But why would he name his father, and not his wife?3,2

Johannes Ladiges and Jannetje Ladiges made a will on 9 Aug 1746. They don't have children yet. The make each other universal heir; except if his (not named) father is still living, he will get his legal portion.4
