Sponsor was Sophia van der Bijl.2 He married Elisabet Joosten (She was from Gent, 28 yrs old, liv. at the Nieuwendijk)1 (banns 29 Oct 1762, Amsterdam. His witness was Jan Nessing, she had the consent of her mother Hendrina Geurs in Gent. The third banns were stopped on 12 Nov, but were continued on 14 Nov.)1
