Ludwig Strauss was born in 1903 in Germany.1 He married Sidonie Metzger, daughter of Isaac Metzger and Elise Mayer.1 He was mentioned in the passengerlist ( of the 'Koenigstein' on 30 Jul 1938) as contact person for Elise Metzger.2

Ludwig and Friedel were naturalized, and living in the same place in 1935; Ludwig and Sidonie had papers and were not in the country in 1935; Elise was still an alien; she was not in the country in 1935.1
