     Jacob Van Meter Chenoweth was born on 2 Mar 1784 in Nelson County, Kentucky.2 He married Mary (Polly) Haycraft on 8 Jun 1808 (She was She was his first cousin, daughter of Samuel Haycraft, Sr. and Margaret Van Meter.)2 He died on 29 Jul 1851 in Perry Township, Pike County, Illinois.2
