He gives to his son Ephraim Hicks his house, barn, buildings and gardens in Plymouth Colony, as well as several fields north of Plymouth Colony. He appoints his wife Margaret as executor, and gives her the right to three rooms in the house, plus the income from a third of the lands he gives to Ephraim, plus yearly twenty loads of wood, as long as she stays unmarried. Samuel Hicks, Ephraim Hicks, John Watson and John Bangs each 50 acres, and a number of other, smaller bequests.1
Edward Bangs, Robert Hicks, and John Rogers all were in Plymouth Colony, and are mentioned on all kinds of lists in Stratton's book "Plymouth Colony: Its History and People." A number of other surnames (i.e. Pratt, Washburn, Leonard, Warren) occur in our genealogy and are in Plymouth Colony, but a connection has not been found.
