     John was possibly baptized in Wrentham on 16 Feb 1617 in England. 43 He (1) married Mary Warren, daughter of John Warren and Margaret, on 30 Oct 1642 at Watertown, Massachusetts.2,5,1 He (2) married Sarah Bemis on 2 Oct 1694 at Watertown, Massachusetts.5,6 He died on 14 Jul 1703 in Watertown.6,5

     John Bigelow took the oath of fidelity at Watertown in 1652, seemingly at the same time as Thomas Pratt and Daniel Warren. He was chosen surveyor of highways in 1652 and 1660, a constable in 1663, and a selectman in 1665, 1670 and 1671.6,7,8
John Biglo made a will on 4 Jan 1703. His will was proved on 28 Jul 1703. His inventory was worth £627 12s.

He leaves to his wife Sarah all the land and goods that she brought into the marriage. He also leaves her £40 in money, as well as 40 lb good pork, 3 bushels of barley, 1 bushel of Indian corn, 5 lb butter, 5 lb cheese, two sheep, and half the flax that will be in the house when he dies. To his eldest son John Biglo £20, and if he has a son, he will get £20 at attaining the age of 21 years. If John has no son, the £20 will be divided among the other children. To his sons Jonathan Biglo and Daniel Biglo £25 to be paid within a year after his death. To his son Samuel Biglo £10 in addition to what he already has received, to be paid within a year after his death. To his son Joshua Biglo two parcels of land lying on the westerly side of bow brook (in Watertown), and £25 to be paid within a year after his death. To his son James Biglo the £15 which he lent him, and to his son James £10 to be paid, when he becomes 21 years of age. If he dies before that, the money shall be divided among the rest of his son James' children. He gives £25 to his daughter Mary Flagg (to be paid within two year after his death, £25 to daughter Elisabeth Sterns' children (to be paid when they are 21 years of age, or the day of their marriage), £25 to his daughter Sarah Learned (to be paid within three year after his death), £25 to his daughter Martha Woods' children (to be paid to them equally, when they are 21 years of age, or the day of their marriage), and £25 to his daughter Abigail Harrington (to be paid within four year after my death). He appoints his son Joshua Biglo and his son-in-law Isaac Learned to be my executors, and it was his will, that after all debts and funeral costs are paid, the remainder of his estate will be divided between them, that is two-thirds to his son Joshua, and one-third to his son-in-law Isaac Learned, with his good friend Capt. Benj. Garfield to be overseer, for which he will be duly compensated.9,5
