His is one of those names that always makes me chuckle. He was the husband of my son-in-law&#8217;s 4th great-grand aunt <a href=\"http:\/\/dutchgenie.net\/family\/family-e-o\/p867.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Anna Whitney<\/a>, whom he married on 24 Dec 1818.<sup>(1)<\/sup><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/dutchgenie.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Anna-Whitney.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-945 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/dutchgenie.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Anna-Whitney-300x58.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"440\" height=\"98\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nPreserved and Anna had seven children, at least one of whom died young. The eldest, William, married <a href=\"http:\/\/dutchgenie.net\/family\/family-e-o\/p2144.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mary Tiffany<\/a>, my son-in-law&#8217;s 3rd great-grand aunt, in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Mt+Pleasant+Township,+PA\/@41.7353848,-75.4617649\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mount Pleasant Township, PA<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/dutchgenie.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/WPickering.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-946 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/dutchgenie.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/WPickering-300x58.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"422\" height=\"94\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Preserved and Anna are buried in Union Hill Cemetery in Gibson Township, PA.
