She died in Seattle, WA in 2001 at 101; a very long life. She was the wife of my husband&#8217;s first cousin once removed.<\/p>\n<p>She married Hugo Voss in 1929 in Koblenz; they only had one child. Her sister, who married a brother of Hannah&#8217;s husband, died at the age of 95, and also only had one child. The brothers were sons of <a href=\"http:\/\/dutchgenie.net\/family\/family-e-o\/p9206.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Herman Voss<\/a> and Anna Mayer, and had two more brothers: Kurt and Hans<\/p>\n<p>The 1930&#8217;s in Germany were full of uncertainty. The family was Jewish; and they saw the writing on the wall. After their father died, all four sons and the mother left Germany. At least two brothers went to Palestine first; Joseph came in 1938 from Germany to New York, and is in the 1940 census in Manhattan. I have not yet found immigration records for Hugo and Hans, who did come to the US; Kurt died in 1941 in Palestine.<\/p>\n<p>Hannah and Martha had at least one other sister, who married W.
