Previously these pieces were named Gasthuisstraat, Stilsteeg, and Korte Gasthuismolensteeg.

Remember the Gasthuismolensteeg from the bakery of Gerrit Lucas Broekman. This was located near the corner with the Singel. I was wondering whether this could be the same house, but after some digging online in the Amsterdam Municipal Archives I do not think so. 27 Paleisstraat seems to have been located near or at the corner of the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal, so is somewhat closer to the Dam.

Maybe in October I can get to the Amsterdam Archives themselves, and do some more digging as to the exact locations.

Family legend had it that great-grandfather Marinus J.
