Isaac Conkin
Isaac Conklin, probable son of Joseph Conklin and Rebecca Hyatt (or
Heyer), and if so, baptized 24 March 1713 Tarrytown [NY] Reformed Church;
married (1) Lena -?-. He married (2) 6 August 1740 Hackensack Reformed
Dutch Church, Lena Van Zeyl (Helena).
Isaac Conklin was born in Westchester Co., NY. Lena/Helena Van Blarcom was
baptized 5 March 1721 Hackensack Reformed Dutch Church.
In the (2) marriage record, they are "Isaek Canklyn, wid'r, b. Westchester
county, and Lena Van Zeyl, y.d., b. Peremus, both l. Peremus."
Isaac was said to be the son of Joseph Conklin (son of John Conklin and
Sarah Horton) who was born about 1680 at Eastchester, NY; removed to Dobbs
Ferry, Westchester Co., NY by 1701; had children: Jacob (moved to Rockland
Co.); Isaac (subject of this family group); John (moved to Renssalaer Co.,
NY); and Joseph, who married Tamar Pinckney of Eastchester (Westchester
Co.), NY.

Ramsay came to New York and showed Alexander and Ashfield two leases. Settlers
