This family is said to have been at Rahway, NJ in 1704 and spread north to the Paramus area, then Rockland County (Haverstraw) to Dutchess and Westchester Counties, and into Connecticut (Greenwich). Lief BaremoreLief Baremore married 17 Oct 1735 Hackensack Reformed Dutch Church 17 Oct. 1735, Rachel Van Zile. Lief Baremore was born at Lisbeth Town (Elizabeth, NJ). Rachel Van Zile was born at or near Paramus. At the time of their marriage, "Lieving Baelmore" was living "in the Cloof" (the Clove) and "Rachel Van Seyl" was living at Paramus.
