  • Is Lucas the same person as Lucas te Wierick? Lucas ter Wierik's children are in the census, but there is no baptism. Lucas te Wierick marries in 1724, but his baptised children are not in the census. Both his parents ad those of his wife are Gerrit and Hendrika.
     Lucas ter Wierik died a 1770, because he was ,living at the time of Hendrik's marriage.1

1748 Stad Almelo census: Household of Lucas ter Wierik (1st quarter). Household consists of Lucas, his wife and three children: Geertruij, 16 yr, Hendrik, 14 yr, and Hermiene, 12 yr.2
