  • Was Andries van Lochem possibly the father of Aaltje van Lochem? Aaltje's first son is named Andries.
  • Was Andries van Lochem possibly a brother of Aalken Hulsken? Aalken mentions a halfbrother Andries van Lochem in her will, or is he really a halfbrother of her husband?
  • Was Andries van Lochem possibly the father of Anna van Logchem? Anna's father died before 1732. Anna would be a lot older at her marriage, but she marries a widower. However, she is from Hengelo, the other possible children are from Almelo.
     Andries van Lochem died a 1702, because he was living at the time of Stijntje's marriage.1

Stad Almelo, 20 1698:
The widow of Jan ten Bruggencate with her daughter Hermken ten Bruggencate, with their guardians Peter Backer and Gerrijt Cuijper, declare to have been paid for the house they sold to Andries van Lochem.2

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 1 May 1715:
Mr. Jan Hendrik Ruink, and his wife Anna Theodora van Someren took out a mortgage with Andries van Lochem, merchant in this town, with as collateral their house and yard, with the garden behind it, between the house of Wolter Post, and the house of Gerrit Hilgerink3
On 28 Jun 1728 the widow of Jochem Nieuwenhuis declares that this mortgage had been paid.3
Stadsgericht, Almelo, 21 Oct 1715:
Gerrit Levelt took out a mortgage with Andries van Lochem and his heirs, with as collateral his house and yard, between the Mennonite Church and the house of Barent Richters. This house he had kept from his wife's inheritance, with permission of his children. Willem Levelt is security for this loan. This loan is to pay off a claim and interest, which the daughter of Jan Engberts has against the estate.4
