Thomas Buissant was born in 1721 in Haarlem.3 He (1) married Femina van Dalen.2,3 He (2) married Hester Claver on 26 Jan 1777 in Wierden (She was widow of Pieter van Vochten, from Amsterdam, now living in Almelo)2 (banns (NH) 11 Jan 1777, Almelo.)2 He died in 1780 in Almelo.3

He was a textile producer.3 His parents were Abraham Buyssant and Catharina des Amories. (For more information, see the source.)3 He and Abraham Buissant moved in 1775 to Almelo from Haarlem.3
Thomas Buissant made a will on 28 Nov 1774. He names`as sole heir his son Abraham Buissant, and if his son dies before his grandson is of age, he names Ds. Gerhardus ten Cate and Gerrit Harmen Coster to administer the estate.3,4
