He names a sole heir his niece Elizabeth ten Cate, wife of Egbert Costers, his niece Maria ten Cate, wife of David Vissering, living in Lier Lier, his nephew Hendrik ten Cate Hzn, brother of his aforementioned 2 nieces, his nephew Jan Jacob ten Cate and his nephew Johannes Coster, to be divided in 5 equal portions. He leaves to the children of Harmannus ten Cate ƒ1000.-, to the children of Hendrik Bavink Jacobszoon ƒ1000.-, to the children of the late Georg Emanuel Staggemeijer ƒ1000.-, to the Mennonite Parish ƒ500.-, to the NH Parish ƒ300.-, to his maid Maria Mokklencate ƒ600.-, to his maid Maria Beverdam (Maria Beverdam?) ƒ600.-. He also leaves to Egbert Costers and his wife Elizabeth ten Cate, and to Egbert Hofkens and his wife Judith Coster all the furniture, which after the death of his 2nd wife had not yet been divided between her children, namely Egbert Costers and Judith Coster.4
