     Ds. Berend Hagedoorn was born on 28 Feb 1810 in Stad Almelo.1,2,3 He was baptized (NH) on 8 Mar 1810 in Almelo.1 He (1) married Johanna Scheurleer, daughter of Ds. Cornelis Johannes Scheurleer and Johanna van Rossen, on 11 Sep 1839 in Stad Almelo2,3 (banns 1 Sep 1839, Stad Almelo, also in Ootmarssum.)2 He (2) married Jacoba Sohier van Ferneij on 29 Mar 1855 in Wierden.4,3 He died on 23 Aug 1868 in Wierden.3

He was a minister.2 He lived at the time of his first marriage in Ootmarssum.2
He started his theology studies on 19 Sep 1827 in Leiden, became a candidate in Zeeland on 3 Oct. 1832, he was a curate in Ootmarsum from Apr 1838 to Juli 1839, and a minister in Wierden from 3 Nov. 1839 until his death.5,2
