  • Berent can not be the same person as Berend Alberts. Berent Alberts Vrijlink is mentioned in court cases in 1669-1680; Berend Alberts marries in 1718.
     Berent Alberts Vrijlink died a 1679, because he lends money.2

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 17 Sep 1668:
Jan Hendrik Ruijnck, and his wife Marrijken Jansen conveyed to Berent Alberts Vrijlink, and his heirs, their portion of their grandfather's estate, namely his house and garden.1

It is not clear from the extract, whose inheritance is transferred. It seems most likely that they (or their wives) are both grandchildren of the deceased grandfather.
Stadsgericht, Almelo, 7 Nov 1679:
Fenne Henrix with her guardian Herman Schuitemaker took out a mortgage with Berent Vrijlinck and his wife and heirs, with as collateral her half house and garden, between the house of Jan van Lochem and that of Tonis Roelofs Vos. Present was also Albert Crull, for the heirs of J. Tonissen and his widow, who were still owed money for a mortgage, which is hereby paid off.2
