  • Gerlach Werners was a son of Jan Warners, because Gerlach Werners has a son Jan, his father was living at the time of his marriage, Jan Warners was living in 1691. But Geerlich's father-in-law was also Jan!
     Gerlach Werners was from in Almelo at his marriage.1 He married Fenneken Gosens, daughter of Jan Goossens, on 6 Dec 1674 in Ootmarsum1,3,2 (banns (NH) 1 Nov 1674, Ootmarsum.)1 He died bet 1713 - 1725, because he takes out several mortgages in 1713 and his wife is a widow in 1725.3,4,2

The relation between Gerlach and Jan is on the one hand based on Jan's patronymic, and on the other hand on the fact that Jan conveys a house together with Gerlach's wife.4
