Egbert Voerknegt, and his wife Eva Gerrits took out a mortgage with Ad. Bentink (Lord of Schoonheten and Huikink, Hoofdschout of Maastricht, Rentmeester of Sipkelo and Albergen, etc), with as collateral their house and yard, situated next to the bridge across the river, and next to the house of Gerrijt ter Braake.3
