  • Was Gerrit Koersen possibly the son of Lubbert Koertsen? Gerrit's father died before 1786, in Gildehuis acc. to Gerrit's deathcertificate. Lubbert's son Lambertus was born in Almelo acc. to his death certificate, and his parents were unknown.
     Gerrit Koersen was born in 1752 in Gildehuis.2,5 He married (NH) Aale Krabshuis, daughter of Henderik van het Krabshuis and Janna van het Kolthoff, on 6 Apr 1786 in Almelo2,6,5 (banns (NH) 18 Mar 1786, Almelo.)2 He died on 3 Apr 1826 at Reigershofte (wijk 2), house #67 in Ambt Almelo. Lambert Koersen and Jan Smit were the witnesses.5

He lived at the time of his marriage in Heerlijkheid Almelo.2 He was a farmer.3 His parents were Lubbert Coer and Stiene Koersen Winkel. (He died before 1786.)2,5
