Jan Hendrik Bolk, and his wife Janna Cuipers took out a mortgage with Gerrit Kuijper, and his wife Willemijne Kramer, with as collateral their kitchen, in which they are living, and the beams above it, and the third part of a weaver's room, of which the other two parts belong to his brothers Jannes Bolk and Jan Bolk.2

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 27 Jul 1722:
Jan Hendrik Bolk, and his wife Janna Bolk, the first also as father and guardian over the children of his first wife Geertruid Bolk, widow of Willem Voss, and the widow of Gerrit Kuiper, all heirs of the late Henrijk Gerrits Kuiper conveyed to Jannes Bolk, and his wife and heirs, their half house, which was occupied by the widow of Henrijk Gerrits Kuiper, at the Churchyard, between the house of Gerrit Kuiper's widow and that of Caspar Meijer's heirs.1
