     Meester Simon de Vries died a 1696, because he was living at the time of Aleijda's marriage.1

He was teacher.2
Meester Simon de Vries succeeded in 1667 Wilhelm Dahomey as teacher. His son Hendrik de Vries succeeded him in 1690.2
The teacher and a Jan ten Kinckhuis are listed in the list of poor people in 1863 (#53). Possibly the second one is Jan ten Kinckhuis. Jan is not listed in the original list of 1682.
