Gerrit de Voer suggests Ida Gerritsen te Tusveld, Hendrik Gerritsen ten Tusveld, Maria Gerritsen ten Tusveld, Aaltje Tusveld, Geesje Tusvelt and Cornelia Tusvelt as children of Gerrit ten Tusveld. Ida, Hendrick and Maria are listed as children of a Gerrit Tusvelt; Aaltje and Geesje each have a child Gerrit; Geesje is listed as sister of Cornelia at Cornelia's marriage, and Cornelia is a sponsor at the baptism of one of Geesje's children; and Geesje's husband Frans van Beest is listed in the VOC salary book as guarantor of Aaltje's husband Adam Oostendorp's estate. This all suggests that at least Aaltje, Geesje and Cornelia are siblings. There is another Hendrik Gerrits Tusveld, who married in 1720 in Almelo with Berendje Egbers ter Hammik. It is my opinion that this Hendrik is a brother of brother of Aaltje, Geesje and Cornelia, and that Ida, Maria and the other Hendrik are children of another father, or at least another mother.
