  • Jan can not be the same person as Jan Bruinholt. Jan Bruinholt died before 1694, Jan Bruinhout living in 1699.
     Jan Bruinhout married Janneke Derx, daughter of Derk Grubben.4 He died bet 1699 - 1714, because he was living at the time of Jan's marriage; but was deceased before his daughter took out a mortgage.1,3

Jan Brouwholt, and his wife Janneke Derx, and Egbert Jansen as father and guardian over his children with his late wife Geertien Derxen, and also Fenneken Derx with her momber Herman Schuitemaker, and as representative of Mette Derx Grubben (proxy signed in Zwolle on 25 Jun 1680) took out a mortgage with Jan Schimmelpennink, and his wife and heirs, with as collateral their half house and yard, between the house of Jan ter Haar and that of Jan Brauns.4
