     Maria Christina Smahle was from in Nieuwenhuis at her marriage.1 She married Hendrik Rompelman, son of Christiaan Rompelman and Gerhardina Ulenbergh,1 (banns (NH) 2 Oct 1774, Almelo)1 They went on 24 Sep 1774 with certificate to Nieuwenhuis.1 (Divorced on 11 May 1775 in Almelo.)3

Her father was Andries Jan Smahle. (He died before 1774.)1

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 30 Sep 1775:
Maria Christina Schmaal, separated wife of Hendrik Rompelman, with her guardian Dr. E. Dull takes out a loan with the silversmith Anthonij Ernst, for which she gives as collateral her furniture, clothes and gold and silver, which she has sold today to forementioned Anthonij Ernst for the sum of ƒ250.- , and she gets these goods immediately back in loan. The loan was paid of on 1 Aug 1778.2
