     Jan Bolk was born in Almelo.1,3 He was baptized (NH) on 31 Jan 1753 in Almelo.2 He married (NH) Janna Nijhoff on 30 May 1782 in Almelo1,3,4 (banns (NH) 3 May 1782, Almelo.)1 He died on 7 Aug 1820 at Nieuwe Einde, house #373 in Stad Almelo. Gerrit Bolmeijer and Hendrik Gast were the witnesses.3

Jan Bolk and Janna Nijhoff with her guardian G. J. Troost made a will on 31 May 1800. They name each other as heir. After the death of the surviver, the estate shall be divided between the resp. next-of-kin, excluding testatrix' brother Egbert Nijhof.5
